John Phaneuf

John Phaneuf is a filmmaker and director whose work spans commercials, editorial, and documentary storytelling. Based in Ojai, California, he has traveled the world creating compelling visual narratives for clients including Patagonia, Toyota, Chevrolet, GQ Magazine, the Ram Dass-Love Serve Remember Foundation, Whole Foods, GoMacro, and many others.

John works directly with clients, agencies, and organizations to bring their stories to life — from initial concept through production, post-production, and final delivery across a wide range of media platforms. His experience covers diverse subject matter, from brand campaigns and editorial features to long-form documentary work.
